Marjorie M. (Hoger) Luther

August 27, 1931 - January 28, 2019

Margie’s life will be remembered on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Portage, MI. Visitation begins at 10:00, followed by a funeral and luncheon. The funeral starts at 11:00. Margie’s remains will be interred at a later date at Concordia Cemetery in Forest Park, IL. Memorial donations may go to Ascension Lutheran Church, Riverside, IL; Chicago Zoological Society, Brookfield, IL; Evangelical Lutheran Church General Fund; Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Portage, MI; and South Community Services of Vicksburg, MI.

I was Margie’s hairdresser for quite a few years. We would talk about her kitty cat and she would always ask at every appointment about our Son’s cat Oscar, who lives with us. We also talked about Chicago, firekeepers casino, church, just life. She was so kind to me, I will miss her but I know she is in good hands in heaven.
