December 9, 1935 - July 31, 2018

A service to celebrate his life will take place at Sunnyside United Methodist Church, 2800 Gull Rd., Kalamazoo, MI 49048, on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM. A time of visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or Sunnyside United Methodist Church, c/o the funeral home.

Marv, was a life long friend, went to same school, worked with, & knew him on a social level.. Marv, had a very caring & loving personality, the kind of guy you love to be around.. To all the family, we share in your grief, but, rejoice that someday we will see Marv again.. May God, comfort you at this time ... Frank & Joyce

I worked with Marv at James River. Always a smile on his face and just the nicest man. I saw him at Main St Pub on Gull Rd a few years back and he hadn’t changed a bit. My condolences to his whole family. May you have many fond memories to comfort you. Cathy Charlesworth Mejia
