Age 79, passed away at her home on October 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Downers Grove, IL the daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Smith) Moore. Mary was kind, loving and genuine. She had a selfless personality and did her very best to help those in need. This passion led to a career in nursing. Mary worked for both Borgess and the State Hospital and later retired from nursing in Florida where she had moved with her second husband. When not working Mary enjoyed crafting and crocheting. She was very social and outgoing. She never met a stranger she didn’t like. Mary’s warm smile and laughter made her a joy to be around, and she will be missed by those who love her. In August of 1993 she was united in marriage to Robert W. Skinner who preceded her in passing in 2018. Mary is also preceded in passing by a son, Brian Frankenfield; brother, Eugene Moore. She leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Clark (Cindy) Frankenfield and Cathy (Ray Key) Lawson; grandchildren, Emily, Adrian, Jorie Lawson, Judy (Dennie) Payne; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine S. Boyd; niece and nephew, Erin and Michael; many extended family and friends.
