Age 76, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 after a brief illness. Mary was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 26, 1943, the daughter of Robert William and Oma Mae McLain. As a nurse, Mary loved taking care of others and enjoyed a full life and was known for her kindness, generosity, acceptance and love of family, friends and all animals. She enjoyed crafting, collecting gem stones, singing with her pet bird and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved granddaughter and grandson, Emilee Peterson and Robert Lee Shaw. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Lorie (Keith) Peterson, Stuart Robert Shaw and grandchildren Amanda, Joshua, Rachel, Saydee and Laci as well as her great grandchildren, Raeanne, Macy and Ezra,her sister, Patricia, nephews Greg and Jeff, her former daughter-in-law, Cheryl and her dearest friend, Barb.
