Age 43, passed away on January 31, 2021. He was born in Portsmouth, VA, on April 19, 1977. Matthew had a welcoming smile and fun personality. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his only daughter, Jadyn and niece, Hannah. He liked playing video games and hanging out with friends. He was a loyal Detroit Lions fan and could always be found rooting for them on Sunday afternoons. Matt loved science and was passionate about space and star gazing. Though he has passed away too soon, the memories he leaves behind will be cherished for a lifetime. Matthew is survived by his daughter, Jadyn Kequom, mother, Debra Kequom; two siblings, Holly Kequom, Brooke (Josh Dixon) Kequom; grandmother, Linda Kequom; uncle, Scott Moyer; aunt, Dawn (Dan) Brady; nieces, Hannah Kequom and Ava DeGroot; cousins, Laura (Kevin) Wilson, Erin (Matt) Dey, Chad (Kim) Brady, Ryan Brady  and Brittnay Sky; friends, Travis Fettes, Jesse and Jerome Lindsey; many other family members and friends. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents, Walter (Betty) Moyer and Anthony Kequom.
