A committal service with full military honors will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan (those planning to attend should meet in the funeral assembly area at the cemetery by 10:45 AM). A celebration of Mel’s life will then follow at 1:00 PM at Angel’s Crossings Golf Course, 3600 E W Ave., Vicksburg, MI 49097.
