Age 61, passed away at home on Thursday, April 27, 2017; after battling an illness and the heartbreaking loss of his son. Glen was born in Manistique, MI on December 13, 1955; the son of the late Mervin G. Clark and Katherine E. (Kabelman) Clark. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly L. Clark of Kalamazoo, MI; his mother, Katherine E. Clark of Curtis, MI; his brother, Kim (Jan) Clark of San Diego, CA; his sister, Renee Morrison of Newberry, MI and many beloved nieces and nephews; two great-nephews and one more on his way. Additional survivors included his step-sons, Chris Hall and Greg (Jammie) Hall of Traverse City, MI, David Hess of Kalamazoo, MI; step-daughter, Jessica (James) Boyle of Kalamazoo, MI and many dear step-grandchildren as well as many more dear friends and family from Kalamazoo to Traverse City and all the way to his hometown of Curtis, MI. Glen was preceded in death by his father, Mervin Glen Clark, Sr. and his son, Nathaniel Glen Clark; many aunts, uncles and cousins. His passions were cooking, collecting recipes, and music, including “Classic Rock” and especially “The Blues”; and everything to do with the U.P. He enjoyed his annual family trips back to his hometown of Curtis, especially when his boys, nieces and nephews were all growing up. Glen faithfully made those annual trips, and that is where he will be returned to, “where his heart has always been”, that was “home” to him.
