Age 67 of Paw Paw passed away suddenly on Wednesday January 21, 2026, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Michael was born on January 31, 1958, in Royal Oak the son of Victor and Virginia (Dorgan) Donahue. He graduated from North Farmington High School and attended Western Michigan University where he was a DJ for WIDR FM, studied Geology, and formed many lifelong friendships. Michael was the proud owner of 3D Painting and spent much of his life painting homes and business all over Michigan while mentoring many in his trade. He enjoyed sharing the love of music, attending concerts, watching sports, and generously helping people in his community. But nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his family, beloved siblings, and the greatest friends a man could ask for. On October 27, 1990, in Las Vegas, NV Michael was united in marriage to Laura (DeYoung) Donahue who survives. Also surviving are three children, Alexis Donahue, Carley Donahue, Michael Donahue; granddaughter, Charlotte Cashen; four sisters, Jean Donahue, Alice Donahue, Gina (Bill) Strand, Dottie (Pat) Pheney; brother, Vic (Barb) Donahue; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Ann Hunter and brother-in-law Jim Hunter.
