Age 67, died on Saturday, November 6, 2021, after a prolonged battle with Stage Four Renal Disease. Mike was born December 14, 1953, the son of the late Charles G. and Connie “Marie” (Brown) Terry. He was a graduate of Parchment High School, class of 1972. Mike was employed for a number of Kalamazoo companies over the years, including Gibson Guitar, Professional Cleaning Service, Lear Corporation and Stryker Medical Group. He also owned and operated alongside his wife, Personalized Cleaning Service for over 30 years, only retiring this past summer. Mike was a caring and generous man who doted over his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time at his place in Northern Michigan, snowmobiling, hunting, and traveling to Florida and Alabama with his family. He is survived by his wife, Diane F. Burnham-Terry; step-children, Kelly Bell and Travis (Amy) Bell; grandchildren, Bradley Bell, Brittney Bell, Gavin Bell and Ike Bell; his great-grandchildren who he adopted and raised, Xavier and Jocelyn Terry; as well as great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Bell. Additional survivors include his brother, Steve (Tina) Terry; sister, Rhonda (Mark) Hicks; step-mother, Faye Terry; nieces and nephews, Amanda (Ryan) Groulx, Charlie (Sarah) Terry, Travis (Jill) Terry, Meagan Hicks and Austin Hicks; several great-nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles, including special uncle, Stanley Terry. Besides his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his step-father, Wade Bradford; and numerous aunts and uncles, including special aunt, Faye Terry. Visiting hours will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at Northbridge Church, 8824 Douglas Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, on Friday, November 12 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ray Brandon officiating. Interment will follow at East Cooper Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parchment Athletic Boosters or Kalamazoo Christian School Association.
