Miles Warren Fifer age 84 of Plainwell passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 15, 2026, at Beacon Hospital from natural causes. Miles was born in Kalamazoo on August 25, 1941, the son of Merlin and Elva (Parker) Fifer. On July 4, 1990, he married his wife Betty, who survives him. Besides his wife, Miles is survived by brother, Vale Fifer; his children, Pam (Mike) Boer, Lynn (Roger) Wiersma, Miles Jr. (Linda) Fifer; step-son, Edward Gernaat; grandchildren, Caitlin Fifer, Meagan Boer, Andrea Hornbeck, Elyse Holzen, Autumn Harris, Susan Hunnicutt, Jory Wiersma; eleven great-grandchildren;; nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Miles was preceded in death by his parents.
