Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators or SPCA of Southwest Michigan, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 72, of Portage, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024. Molly was born in Kalamazoo on April 15, 1952, the daughter of James Patrick and Mildred Evangelista (Cope) McGuire. On August 17, 1974, she married Donald Dale Bergman who survives her. Molly worked for many years in food service. When her family had been camping for several years at Warner Camp, she became Food Service Director there. During this time, she interacted with the children campers and built many strong friendships and relationships. Molly enjoyed playing tennis and competed nationally and won many awards. She also served as Tennis Coach at Comstock and Hackett High Schools. Her special interests included Siamese cats, eagles and frogs. She was a fan of Michael Jackson whose music she enjoyed. She had collected several items of his memorabilia, which she enjoyed buying and selling on eBay. She loved and was loved by her family. Besides her husband, Molly is survived by her children, Casey (Mandy) Younglove of Lansing, James Bergman of Portage; grandchildren, Violet and Kenzie; brothers, Clyde Frost, Tim (Lucy) McGuire, Michael Kevin McGuire; sisters-in-law, Linda McGuire, Debbie (Bill) Gates; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Molly was preceded in death by her parents; and her mother and father-in-law, Bill and Mabel Bergman; brother, Patrick McGuire.
