William, Dawn and families, Lynn and I want you to know how much your mom meant to us as she helped raise and take care of our two kids, Andrew & Susan. You may not remember, but Nancy took care of Andrew when he was 10 days old, enabling Lynn to go back working on her residency in Kalamazoo. Nancy continued taking care of both kids well into grade school. WE NEVER HAD TO FIND ANOTHER PERSON TO TAKE CARE OF OUR KIDS. If Nancy could not do it, she’d get Janine across the street to help out. Even when your gramma passed away, Nancy made arrangements for care for our kids. Nancy was always there caring for Andrew & Susan, as we worked on our careers. We have many memories of last minute calls to her from work saying we have a late meeting or something came up at work, and we couldn’t get to pick them up at regular times. She NEVER said there was a problem. “Meet us at the ball field where Bubby is playing.” She would take the kids bowling with her during the day. Lynn & I always felt she really loved our kids. They felt the same way. We haven’t kept in close contact over the years. But rest assured, your mom was close to us in our hearts over the years. She meant so much to our family as a person who cared for our kids in a big way. We are so sorry for your loss. We know she will be missed greatly. Fond Regards, Steve & Lynn Terranella
