Age 72, of Battle Creek, passed away at Centrica Rose Arbor Place on March 6, 2025, with family at her side. Nancy was born in Homer, MI, the daughter of Donald Marshall and Virginia Crandall. Nancy grew up in Homer and eventually made her home in Battle Creek. She was kind, gentle and loving. She enjoyed spending time at home but was always happy to have visitors. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her free time Nancy liked playing cards, especially Canasta and Euchre, which were family traditions. She was a loving sister and spent many hours with her siblings. Nancy’s warm smile, laughter and love will be missed by all who knew her. In 1972, she married Robert E. Knapp who preceded her in passing in 1998. She was also preceded in passing by her father Donald; mother and stepfather, Virginia (Edward) Kohne. She is survived by a loving daughter, Tera (Matt) Bilbia; son, Robert W. Knapp; grandchildren, Kiersten (Dave) Capasso, Cole (Jessica) Rutherford and Madison Bilbia; siblings, Jon Marshall, Alan Marshall and Lynne Smith; extended family and friends.
