My sincerest sympathies to Nancy’s family at this sad time. Nancy was a sorority sister of mine at WMU and I’m grateful for the fun memories I have of our years together. We reconnected a few years ago at an alum gathering and picked up where we left off. I was unaware of all of Nancy’s commitment to service and can imagine how much her presence in the community will be missed. And how missed she will be in the lives of so many.

My sincerest condolences to the family. May God hold you close and give you comfort and peace. Nancy was so giving of herself to her family and community.

Nancy contributed so much to the community and to WMed Psychiatry over the years. Her dedication and caring for others was paramount to her and it showed in everything she did. She will be missed by many at WMed as well as countless people whose lives she enriched. It is with great sadness that I even have to write this. My thoughts are with her son, Adam, her mom, and those in her life. Holly Ramsdell, WMed

Nancy was my residency coordinator at WMed and was always very good to me. She was so good at her job that she arranged for students who were interviewing for Wmed would have a late checkout of the hotel and I told her that attention to detail helped me decide on going to Wmed because I knew I would be taken care of. And it proved to be true. You will be missed. Rest in peace.
