Nancy went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 14, 2021 at age 66. She was born in Kalamazoo, April 1955, the daughter of the late Egbert and Angeline (Portenga) Triemstra. She was raised in Southwest Michigan and graduated from Kalamazoo Christian High School in 1973. Nancy had a strong faith in the Lord, a kind heart, and a gracious spirit. Her laughter and generosity made a difference in the lives of those around her, she was a member of the Christian Reformed Church, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She worked hard and held a variety of jobs, and was especially fond of the time she spent working at Camp Geneva in Holland, MI. Above all Nancy was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband, daughters, and grandchildren were at the center of all that she did and to care for them gave her the greatest satisfaction. She loved spending time with her daughters, visiting them in each of their homes and making memories as they and their families grew. She leaves them with the legacy and values of a life lived for Christ and for family. Nancy’s smile and joy will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Paul Miersma; her three daughters, Karen Chandler, Laura (Tyrus) Campbell, Kathy (Matthew) Zoerhof; grandchildren, Olivia and Danny Chandler, Charisse and Joshua Campbell, Simeon Zoerhof, and an expected grandchild on the way. She is also survived by three siblings, Barb (Roger) Dekker, Tom (Ann) Triemstra, Kay Triemstra; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in passing by brothers, Chuck and Dan Triemstra.
