Age 72, passed away at home on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Nancy was born in Madison, Wisconsin on April 9, 1949, the daughter of the late Roger G. and Marcella E. (Martinek) Smith. On September 8, 1973, she was united in marriage to James E. Wilkey who survives. Nancy is also survived by her children, Jason (Selena) Wilkey and Andrea (Ronald) Klotz; sister, Marilyn Smith and brother, Daniel (Juanita) Smith. Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Ellen Smith. Nancy was employed for many years at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center where she came to love all the veterans she cared for. She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. Nancy was loved by all who knew her and will be missed. A private family committal service will take place at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in Battle Creek, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
