January 13, 2000 - October 29, 2025

A service to celebrate his life and faith will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 2122 Bronson Blvd, Kalamazoo, MI. Light refreshments will follow. Visitation will take place at the church on Friday, November 7, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Private interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.

It was such a joy and blessing to know this young boy and see him grow into a young adult. Ecclesiastics 3:1 says that there is a season for everything with God, "a time for joy and a time for sorrow"... I know he is free from pain and illness and reunited with Maddie, and so in this time of sorrow we take comfort knowing the Nathan is living his eternal life. I will continue to pray and send my thoughts as you navigate the upcoming days and this next chapter in life. Denise Hoffman

What rejoicing there must have been when Nathan was reunited with his sister and grandparents but most importantly, his Heavenly Father. My heart hurts for Doug and Tammy who tirelessly loved their children and clung to faith through their children's illnesses. I pray for peace and comfort for them in the days and weeks and months (and years) to come...
