Age 91, passed away Friday November 8, 2024 at home. Neldon was born August 21, 1933 in Galesburg the son of Orrin and Frances (Wilkins) Spencer. He Attended Galesburg Schools and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Culligan Water then retired from Roberts Consolidated in Kalamazoo in the Maintenance Department. Neldon was a volunteer firefighter for Galesburg Fire Department for over 40 years and enjoyed woodworking and being a fix-it guy. On January 30, 1953 in Galesburg, Neldon was united in marriage to Marie (Gage) Spencer who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Douglas Spencer, Brian (RaShonda) Spencer; 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Laura, Ryan, Courtney, Kyle and Emily; 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nina Anderson.
