Neldon I Spencer

August 21, 1933 - November 8, 2024

Friends will be received at the Galesburg Congregational Church 22 S. Church St. Galesburg, Michigan from 11 am – 12 noon on Saturday November 16, 2024 where a memorial service will follow beginning at noon. Interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date to be announced.

I enjoyed working with Nel at Roberts, he worked as my leadperson in a couple different positions that I worked there. He was helpful in guiding me through a task and teaching me the best way to do things. He also would encourage me when I had doubts about my ability on certain tasks. Prayers to Marie, Doug, and Brian and all other family for comfort and strength to continue. He was a good man.

He was a very loving and caring uncle. I have a lot of memories he sure will be missed.

I am sooo sorry to hear this. Nel and Marie both were staples in my young adult life. They were good friends of my Mom and Dad (Jake and Betty), and spent many weekends together with like minded friends who, sadly, have also passed on. I often reflect on those days, and am grateful to have known the Spencers. Marie, I'm sure you will be lost for awhile without him, but take solice in the comfort of your Sons. Sending love to all, Marie, Doug, and Brian. Know that your Dad, will never be forgotten............He was a great guy.
