Norma was a special person and educator.. She was always warm, supportive and thoughtful. I will always remember yelling greetings to her on a golf course. My thoughts are with her friends and family.

Remembering Curly, our dear friend and neighbor. So many wonderful memories with Curly, laughing, going on boat rides, and enjoying life and each other. Curly and her jokes, she always had a new one to share. Curly and her stories, she was most definitely one of a kind. Curly was strong and fearless; she broke through barriers and was an amazing trailblazer. So many stories to remember, a good one is the time Curly went to 30 banks in the early 1970’s to try to get a loan to build her home on Eagle Lake. Banks did not want to give a single woman a loan back then, but she persevered and finally one bank said “yes!” Curly did not want to hire anyone to tear down her old cottage, so she bought a slug hammer and steel toed boots and burned it on the beach. Why, because she could! Remembering another great story that Curly told us about taking a boat trip with her friends and needing to change a prop on the boat; and she did it! We loved Curly and loved spending time with her and listening to her stories. She has a special place in our hearts, and we will sorely miss her. Sandy and Eileen
