Age 85, passed away on April 8, 2023, at Borgess Hospital. He was born in Parker, IN, on May 21, 1937, the son of the late Kenneth and Martha (Blakely) Barker. Norman remained in Southwest Michigan throughout his life and was always proud of his home. He worked hard to provide for his loved ones, often working two jobs at a time. Norman also knew how to enjoy life. He was an avid bowler on many leagues, liked taking pontoon rides in the summer, driving around on the golf cart with grandkids at his side or watching a NASCAR race on Sunday afternoon. Above all Norman loved his family and was especially proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all who loved him. He was united in marriage to Ardith (Saxton) Barker who preceded him in passing in 2017. He was also preceded in passing by a son-in-law, Kevin Bradley; siblings, Genevra Noyse, Dorothy Householder, Chuck Barker, Kenneth Barker, Nova Woodall. He is survived by two children, Jeffrey Barker and Lorri Bradley; three grandchildren, Amber Skiba Dustin (Samantha) Barker, Ashley Bradley; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Tyler, Arianna and three others; siblings, Betty (Robert) Maddron, Jerry Barker; many nieces, nephews and friends.
