Age 77, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. Tony was born in Decatur, Alabama on September 7, 1946, the son of the late Olen and Frances (Alred) Mason. He owned and operated Mason Heating and Cooling for over 50 years. Tony was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and snowmobile. He had a very outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Tony was a generous person and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Tony is survived by his long-time significant other, Janice Taylor; sons, Mark (Nancy) Mason and Michael (Pam) Mason; grandchildren, Courtney (Josh) Quandt, Cameron Mason and Sierra Mason; two great-grandchildren, Wesley and Charlotte Quandt; brother, Dean Reits; and bother in-law, Robert Rabb, Besides his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Leatherman) Mason; siblings, Patricia Centilla, Michael Mason, Tim Mason, and Pam Rabb; step-father, Harold Reits and second wife, Robbie Mason. A memorial service will take place at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park – South. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or Centrica Care Navigators.
