Aunt Olga what is a very loving and generous aunt to myself and my fellow cousins. She urged me to pay off my mortgage early and for that alone I am deeply grateful. She was always warm and welcoming to my friends and NO ONE made better Greek style chicken and rice soup then she did. As an adolescent and teen I spent a week with her each summer vacation and I am blessed to have many wonderful memories of the time we enjoyed together. Prior to my father moving in with me some years ago I used to visit Kalamazoo every May and every October for about a month, during those visits I made a point of seeing Olga each and every day. While she remembered that I was her nephew she did not remember having seen me the previous day which we would always laugh about along with her very attentive and caring nurse,Tina. “May her memory be eternal.”
