He will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on Monday, November 18 2018. At this time, military honors will take place during a ceremony to be scheduled at a later time. Those wishing to write a condolence message are encouraged to do so on the funeral home’s website.

Age 98. Mr. Hodgdon passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2018 at Park Place Living Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born on July 7, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan. He lived at the Leenhouts Adult Foster Home from 1995 until 2016. Omar loved to spend time outdoors, and especially loved to walk and spend time in the sun. Mr. Hodgdon was a World War II veteran, honorably serving our country in the United States Army.
