Age 68, passed away Monday afternoon, June 12, 2023. Pam was born in Warsaw, IN, on May 28, 1955, the daughter of Lawrence Howard and Esther Lois (Longenbaugh) Lozier. On February 14, 1985, she married Richard Hayes, who survives her. Pam was an avid gardener. She liked reading, especially romance novels. Pam had a love for Upper Michigan and liked traveling. She was a great travel companion for Richard, but not necessarily good at navigating. She liked going along for the ride. Pam was a good baker. More than anything, Pam loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. Together they played board, yard, card and video games, listened to music; worked on crafts and went to children’s movies. Besides her husband she is survived by her sons, Kristopher (Sara) Hayes of Kalamazoo, Patrick (Cassie) Hayes of Kalamazoo; granddaughters, Madison and Mikaila; sisters, Susan Lozier, Patti (Neal) Elgersma; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Pam was preceded in death by her parents.
