Age 74, passed away Monday morning, September 5, 2022. She was born in Detroit, on October 4, 1947, the daughter of Chester and Lauretta (Lussinger) Lesniak. Pat was a selfless woman who gave of her talents and time freely. She loved helping others and her home and heart were always open to those in need. She was an avid reader and a familiar face at the Marshall Public Library. Pat was a hard worker who was employed for 28 years by the State of Michigan. Her kind smile and warmth will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Pat is survived by her partner of forty-one years, Henry Hayes of Battle Creek; her son, Edward (Randi) Shumaker of Charlotte; grandchildren, Andy, Dayna, Devin, Christa; great-grandchildren, Haley and Dakota, Jessie, Oliver and Cora; three siblings, Chester, John and Billy Lesniak and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Paul Shumaker and David Walters.
