Patricia “Pat” Moran age 81, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in Kalamazoo Michigan following a tenacious 43-year battle with M.S. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on April 23, 1942, the daughter of the late John and Alice (Fridenberg) Schuur. Pat was kind, loving, and faithful. Her great sense of humor, smile and laughter will be missed by all. She made friends wherever she went and could always be counted on for a kind word or honest opinion. To know Pat was to love her and she leaves behind a legacy of strength, endurance and love. Above all Pat loved her family and was especially proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On November 28, 1964, she married the love of her life Dave Moran who survives. She is also survived by a son, Tim (Penny) Moran; daughter-in-law, Kelli Moran;  grandchildren, Matthew (RaeAnn) Hatfield, Krystal Moran, Katrina Moran, Dr. Nathan (Maria) Merrill, Kyler Moran and Kelsey Moran; great-grandchildren, Alaina, Ashton and Rozalia;  many extended family and friends. She was preceded in passing by a son, Michael John Moran; grandson, Levi Hatfield; great-grandson, Kayden Smith; siblings, Ann Koets, Charles “Chuck” Schuur, Charlene Laster, Paul Schuur, Bud Manbeck.
