A memorial moment will take place during the Sunday morning worship service at Oak Grove Bible Church, Kalamazoo this December 29, where Paul attended the last four years, playing the piano and teaching adult Sunday School. Burial will take place in the spring at Mountain Home Cemetery. Paul’s family wishes to thank Pastor David Ives and landlord Barry Ward for their steadfast care and support of Paul during his lengthy illness.

On December 17, 2019, after a three-year battle with esophageal cancer, Paul found peace with his Lord and Savior. Paul was born Sept. 2, 1943 in Kalamazoo and received his primary education in the Portage Public Schools and then graduated from Western Michigan University. Later in life he graduated cum laude from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio with a Masters in Divinity degree. Thereafter he offered shepherdships in many churches in many states. Preceding Paul in death were his adoptive parents Henry E. Westerville and Josephine Bosker Westerville. Surviving are his sister, Mary Prange, her husband Ronald and their two adult children.
