A service to honor Pete’s life will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pete will be laid to rest at Ft. Custer National Cemetery with full military honors. contributions may be made to Animal Rescue Project or SPCA of Kalamazoo, c/o the funeral home.

All of our love To Teresa And Pete’s family and friends. We really loved our Thanksgiving meals and games with Pete! And he was so sweet and kind when we visited with the kids! They all completely adored him and were really really sad to know he had gone. He was a big bear of a man with an even bigger heart, so so kind and gentle and easy to love and we will miss him desperately! Love and lots of hugs to you Teresa.

Our sympathies to Teresa and the entire Post family in the passing of Pete! Pete was a classmate of Steve and mine in the KCHS class of 1969!
