In accordance with her wish, Phyllis made a gift of herself to the Anatomical Donation Program at the University of Michigan Medical School. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.

Age 87, passed away at home on January 18, 2021, surround by loved ones. She was born in Gary, IN, on November 13, 1933, the daughter of the late Frank and Herriet (Rudziewcz) Sabotka. Phyllis was a kind and loving woman. She loved her family and friends and was always willing to help others. She was immensely proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and leaves them with many wonderful memories to cherish. After graduating high school Phyllis studied accounting and office management at Purdue University. She worked for forty-five years at various accounting firms and eventually retired from Lockheed Martin.  She also was employed by Senior Services in South Haven, MI. When not working she had fun playing golf, Bingo and liked to spend time with family and friends at the family cottage on Scott Lake. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and was a practicing Catholic. Her kind smile and laughter will be missed by all who loved her. On August 7, 1954, she married Theodore Davis who preceded her in passing on December 30, 1996. She was also preceded in passing by a son, Jeffery (Kelly) Davis; three siblings, Edwin Sabotka, Lorraine Spilios and Sylvia Cronch. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Rose) Davis and Phillip (Polly) Davis; five grandchildren, Whitney Davis, Caitlin (Zach) Houseman, Krystal Davis, Jefferey Davis and Nicholas Davis; five great-grandchildren, Kaden Pore, Kazi Davis, Nolan Houseman, Adalyn Cole and AJ Houseman; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
