Ralph Frederick Boughton went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 30th, 2017 at the age of 72. Ralph was born on May 13, 1944, the son of the late Ralph S. Boughton and Mettie L. Boughton (Noyes). He was married on March 1, 1968 to his wife Janet Boughton (Cornell). He was employed by the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department from 1968 to 1988, rising to the rank of lieutenant. In 1995, he moved to Tucson, Arizona where he worked as the manager of the guard division at Central Alarm Security. He retired in 2009 at the age of 65. Ralph loved the Lord and attended church at Calvary Chapel Tucson. Ralph was a hard-working, over-achiever who excelled at every job he performed. He was outgoing, funny, friendly and well-loved by all who knew him. He had a zest for life, loving cars, music, spending time with his family and travelling. In 2014, he traveled to Israel with his church. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Anabelle. Ralph is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janet (Tucson), 3 children, Scott Courtney (Sheila), Schoolcraft, Michigan, Paul Boughton (Sherry) Portage, Michigan and Leslie McDowell (Kevin), Monroe, Washington. He is also survived by 9 grand-children and his sister Loretta Burris (Gary) Sierra Vista, Arizona.
