In accordance with Rea’s wishes no services are planned at this time and private interment will take place at Schoolcraft Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, c/o the funeral home.

Age 58, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Rea was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on May 31, 1960, the daughter of the late Robert L. and Mabel L. (Disbrow) Hilton. Rea was an extremely loving and caring person; whose arms were always open to anyone in need. She was a mom to many and was known for her unconditional and nonjudgmental love. Rea is survived by her children, Nicole M. (Jermeay) Smith and Alexander M. (Amber) Abajian; grandchildren, Rylan M. Smith and Alexander J. Abajian; siblings, Debbie Hilton and Terrie Hilton; step-mother, Sharon Hilton; step-siblings, Kenneth Bowman and Michael Bowman, Colleen Ayres and Ed Thompson and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Curtis and step-brother, Tom Bowman.
