May 10, 1982 - June 11, 2022

There will be no funeral service. Her family plans to privately spread her ashes in one of the South Carolina parks she loved. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to “#MEAction.” Becky wanted people to know about the desperate need for research to find a cure for myalgic encephalomyelitis in hopes of helping millions of others like her. Friends and family may share a condolence message online at www.joldersma-klein.com.

I didn't know Becky long but in the short time we were able to be around her, she touched our loves with her beautiful smile and her love for gardening. She was fun to work with at the Five Senses Gardens where she volunteered with her mom. We will miss her very much. Our love goes out to her mom (Martha) and the rest of the family. May God give you peace and encourage your hearts as you reflect on Becky's life.

Becky was a joy to be around. We were Belly Dance sisters in Troupe Oasis. During practice she would show up looking like this little tom-boy ... cute and always smiling. Then show day would come and in walked this beautiful, sparkly, poised dancer. I was always amazed. May you rest in peace beautiful dancer.

Hi Beky, May your Soul Rest In Peace. You lived a very meaningful life that touched many of us that were lucky to meet you. I really can’t thank you enough for helping me settle in the US as a new foreigner in grad school at Clemson. Am saddened to know of your passing but am glad we were able to connect in the final months before your final departure from this earth. Condolences to your mum and family.

Becky was a student in my dance classes while she was at Purdue, and she performed as part of our student troupe, Troupe Oasis. She was fun, and funny, always excited to learn more, and to share her joy of dance with everyone. I am so sad that I will never gave the chance to dance with her again. Becky was an extraordinary person and the world will miss her. My condolences to her family.
