A service to commemorate Scott’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 19, at 1:00 p.m. at the Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick Street. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and for an hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice, c/o the funeral home.

Age 55, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. Scott was born on March 27, 1964, in Watsonville, CA, the son of Richard G. and Joan A. (Terry) Huffstutter. On July 23, 1988, he married Lynnette Wilkey who survives him. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University and was a member of Carpenter’s Union #525 for 21 years. He enjoyed biking, camping, boating, and all outdoor sports. Above all, he was a loving husband and father. Besides Lynnette, he is survived by his children, Patrick (McKenna Bowdish) Huffstutter of Centreville, Zachary (Kennedy Malmstrom) Huffstutter of Kalamazoo and Samantha Huffstutter; his mother, Joan (Gary) Lohr of San Jose, CA; his father, Richard G. Huffstutter of Portage; his sister, Kimberly (Billy) Wellman of Allegan; mother and father in law, Mike and Linda Wilkey of Scotts; brother in law, Jim Wilkey of Kalamazoo; 4 nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
