I first met Richard in late 1972 when we both worked ar American National Bank. I had just started & he took me under his wing & showed me the ropes. It was the start of a 46 year friendship and many adventures. Richard became on of my closest friends and confidants. Although we were often separated geographically, we could always count on birthday cards &/or phone calls in addition to periodic updates each year. Richard had a wonderful sense of humor and maintained an amazing plosives attitude despite his many physical issues. He deeply loved his daughter, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and close frirends. Most importantly, he was a devout Christian who gave thanks for each day he had on this earth and looked forward to the day that his Heavenly Father would call him home & perfectly restore his body. His reward came Nov 8. I will greatly miss him! My condolences to his family.
