Dick will be laid to rest with full military honors in a graveside service at Ft. Custer National Cemetery on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend should meet in the cortege assembly area of the cemetery at 1:15 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators or Battle Creek VA Medical Center, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 82, passed away late Saturday night, July 22, 2023. Dick was born in Saginaw, MI, on December 7, 1940, the son of Walter and Marjorie (Lilja) Leslie. On November 25, 1967, he married Karen Hamlin who survives him. Dick proudly served his nation in the United States Marine Corps where he was a Lance-Corporal. Dick enjoyed fishing, hunting and coaching youth sports. He was of the Methodist faith. Besides his wife, Dick is survived by his children, Lori (Dwight) Webster of Ramona, CA, Lisa (Gary) Raessner of Mission Veijo, CA, Erin (Rick Perkins) Chatterton of Vienna WV, Chad (Sarah) Leslie of Huntley, IL, Jason (Racheal) Leslie of Kalamazoo; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Diane (George) Kross; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Leslie; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Dick was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Leslie.
