In accordance with Dick’s wishes, cremation will take place, and per his request, there will be no visitation.  Interment with full military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a date to be announced, where he and Jeri will be placed eternally together, just as they were through life. A very special thanks to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, and all of the people who gave of themselves to help care for Dick in the last months of his life. We love and appreciate you all.

I wish I could talk to you again. Words cannot convey how much I miss you both. It has been a rough summer, with much adversity in my life and business, but I keep hearing your voice saying "It builds character".. I love you Dad..

Dick was a great friend to the Hoffman family. Sorry for the loss. Dick and Jeri will be missed by many of us.

Dick, you were such an amazing and strong man. I will always remember your "sly" smile when I would tease you about your big, warm and fuzzy heart. You will be missed. Big hugs to all of your family.

Dad, I don't think you ever knew how much I respected and looked up to you. All those times you'd holler at me for not listening, I was. You taught me life lessons I still use today. Thank you. Thank you for all the great memories!
