Age 86, passed away on December 1, 2021. Bob was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 14, 1935, the son of the late Hubert and Josephine (Karman) Bushouse. He was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and was employed for many years at Clarage Fan. Bob enjoyed to bowl and doing word searches and crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed fishing during his younger years. Bob was a long-time member of Voyage Church, formerly Fourth Reformed Church. On July 20, 1957, he married the former Jeralyn A. Geelhoed who survives. Bob is also survived by his son, Brian Bushouse; grandchildren, Heather (Al) Perkins, Jennifer (Scott) Schluter, Alan Park and Courtney Bushouse; five great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna Terry, Janet (Marshall) Holland and Linda (Richard) Darner and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter and son in-law, Wendalyn and David Park and grandsons, Christopher and James Park. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Voyage Church, 6339 Atlantic Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, Pastor Glenn Adams officiating. A time of visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions in Bob’s memory may be given to Voyage Church.
