Age 70, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019. Buddy was born on July 2. 1948, in Sommerville,  Alabama, the son of Robert and Lucy (Moore) Parker. On November 27, 1971, he married Gayle Sharp who survives him. He is also survived by his sons, Corey and Tim, both of Lawton; his grandchildren, Stephani and Michael; his sisters, Faye Mason of Hartsell, Al, Bettie (Jimmy) Patterson of Sommerville, AL,  Olene Dudley of Sommerville, AL, Jeanette Eaves of Decatur and Vickie Parker of Kalamazoo; brother in law, Tom Sharp of Plainwell; sister in laws, Lucy (Jeff) Farrow of Schoolcraft, Dorothy (Paul) Moran of Lawton, Ilene (Howard) Oswalt of Lawton; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister of Mary Ann, and an infant brother, Arthur. Buddy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed teaching his grandchildren how to hunt and fish. He was a great cook and will be remembered for his fish fries. He made the best hushpuppies of anyone. He was handy and could fix anything, especially lawnmowers and snowmobiles. He proudly served his nation in the United Sates Army. He truly lived after his name: he was everyone’s “Buddy.”
