There will be a Memorial Gathering at Pine View Golf Club, 52065 Pulver Rd, Three Rivers, on October 26, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Borgess Ascension/Pipp Hospital in Plainwell, Michigan. Family and friends are encouraged to share a condolence message.

Age 83, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Ascension Borgess Pipp Hospital in Plainwell. Bob was born in Kalamazoo on August 30, 1936, the son of Harold and Esther Fleming. Bob met the love of his life in elementary school and eventually married Helen on December 22, 1956. As a young man, Bob was a reservist with the United States Marine Corp. He retired from General Motors (Fisher Body) after 27 years of dedicated service. Bob & Helen also worked at the Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction for the last 8 years and made many great friends. He was known by all who loved him to be an excellent golfer, and he made a hole in one at the age of 76 at the Pine View Golf Course in Three Rivers. As a family, Bob and Helen enjoyed travel, camping and family vacations. They camped for twenty years at Twin Mills Resort in Indiana and Saturday nights was always “card night” with friends and family at Bob and Helen’s house. He enjoyed woodworking and made a lot of furniture for family and friends Besides his wife, Bob is survived by his children Vicky (Greg) Duncan of Kalamazoo; Robert Jack (Kathy) Fleming, Jr. of Lawton, Mark Fleming of Three Rivers and his friend, Tina of Bangor; his beloved grandchildren Amber Duncan, Randy Duncan, Joshua Fleming, Andy and Gabby Hall, Chris and Kara Alley, as well as his great-grandchildren, Azlynn, Jase, Aniya and Kane. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law, Janet (Paul) Rench, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as brother and sister in law Richard and Henrietta Fleming and his sister and brother in law Linda (Bill) Meeker.
