Burial Date June 14, 2019

The family will greet friends for visitation on Friday, June 14, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Prairie Baptist Church located at 11210 East PQ Avenue in Scotts followed by a funeral service beginning at 12 o’clock. A graveside committal ceremony will follow at Bougthon Cemetery located at 10249 East S Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for the grandchildren’s future college education, c/o the funeral home.

I remember 1991-1992. Bob was delivering for some Linen company, Uniforms, rugs, mats. He drive a panel van and would call me at work and say 'Can we get lunch?" I was working at Mickle and Co Insurance on 5000 Portage Road and we'd sit in a parking lot in my vehicle or his delivery van and eat sandwiches we brought from home. Bob was going through a deep hard valley, but he always wanted to chat and connect. And he always had that little laugh when I asked him how he was doing. I moved away to Maranatha in August 1992 and we lost touch. Then I heard he married Lori, that beautiful daughter of our friends Jim and Carol.

My condolences to the family in this sad loss of Bob. I remember him from high school as we graduated the same year. I always thought much of Bob. He was a kind person, easily approachable and never in a rush that he didn’t take time to make you feel important. Prayers to all!

Lori, We are sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Our memories go back many years. I (Bill) especially remember our Sunday School class in the hallaway at the church on 29th Street. May God give you peace through your memories. B&J
