March 17, 1934 - March 29, 2021

Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a memorial service for members of the immediate family only. A public celebration of life will be held for Bob at a later date. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes, the Wounded Warrior Project or to KICY, an Arctic broadcasting outreach of the Evangelical Covenant Church.   I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.          2 Timothy 4:7

Dear Rapp Family, We were sorry to learn of Bob's passing. Bob was a caring and thoughtful person. Over the years it was a treat to see him in the Road Commission truck, and he always gave a friendly wave. We go back with the Rapp Family a long way. Bob's mother, Lucille, was Ken Plott's sister and Vern went to school with Dawn (Weed) Rapp. Aurelia knew Bob and Dawn from the Covenant Church. Plus Vern's children and the Rapp children went to Green Meadow Elementary about the same time. Our deepest Sympathy to Judy and the entire family.

On behalf of the Road Commission we express our deepest sympathy to the family. We appreciate all his many years of public service.

The things that we will remember the most about Bob are his generous spirit, his kind heart , his ability to really listen to others, and his love for Dawn and then Judy when she came into his life. Bob was always a very upbeat sort of person who loved his family so much!!! We have enjoyed the many years that we have known him, the many lunches we have shared. The last few years have been difficult for Bob with many health issues but he still always had a smile on his face. We only regret that we could not have said good bye to him (due to Covid, it has been a long time since we have talked). God bless you, Judy, for all that you have done for Bob and the love that you two shared--so evident when you 2 were together. sandy and Paul
