Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Robin Joy (Van Wesep) Bolthouse, born February 11, 1966, went to be with her loving Heavenly Father on July 11th, 2022, after suffering a difficult and painful battle with Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinsons Disease. We know that even through this long and tiresome journey, she was so very loved by everyone who cared for her. Her family is grateful to those who took the time to visit, support, listen and love her. Her caregivers at Ely Manor and hospice gave her a sense of peace that she was not only being cared for, but truly cared about as a person and a friend. As a young girl, Robin excelled in school. She went on to become a talented chef after graduating from Culinary School in Grand Rapids, MI. She also had a deep love and passion for animals and music until she was no longer able. Robin is survived by her loving sister, Melissa (Cristobal) Arambula. In accordance with her wish cremation will take place and a private family remembrance will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, c/o the funeral home.

GOD’S  GARDEN

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful –
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering;
He knew that you were in pain;
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered “Peace be thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
