Age 74, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at his home in Centreville, MI. He was born in Freemont, OH, on January 11, 1949, the son of the late Bud Mason and Virginia (Ash) Dibble. Roger believed in working hard and did his best to provide for those he loved. He was an exceptional mechanic and was employed for many years by Mall City Ambulance. He later went to work for Migala Carpet and would eventually own and operate his own flooring business. When not working he enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was a gifted artist who was called upon by many friends to create works of art. He was giving of his time and spent twenty years as a transporter for his Amish friends. Above all he loved his family. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and leaves behind many wonderful memories to cherish. Roger is survived by his daughter, Terri Mason-Bennett; eight grandchildren, Tiffanie (Steve) Coffey, Zetta Wilkins, Savahna Mason, Robert Jarnagin, Kaela (Thomas) Whitney, Jacob Mason, Niclaus Gooch, Raechel Mason; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Deborah Kiefer, Christine (Jay) Miller, Regina Kiefer; nephews, extended family and friends. Roger was also preceded in passing by two sons, John Mason and Brad Mason; a brother, Keith Mason.
