Age 78, passed away at Plainwell Pines Nursing Home on November 7, 2024. She was born in Kalamazoo on February 25, 1946, the daughter of the late Andrew and Lena (Britton) Owen. Sandra was kind, loving and spunky. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved visiting with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time at her home where she spent many hours crocheting baby blankets for newborns. She looked forward to seeing her family during the holiday seasons and her home and heart were always open to those in need. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed! On April 21, 1983, she married the love of her life, Virgil “Babyface” Cole who preceded her in passing on November 24, 2023. She was also preceded in passing by a dear friend Jeff Ruimveld. She is survived by her loving children, Jerry Hazen, Robert (Christine) Hazen, Douglas Ulrich; stepchildren, siblings, extended family and friends.
