Age 70, died on July 25, 2016. She was born on December 11, 1945, in Vicksburg, MI, the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Alice (VerHage) Vander Pol. She was also preceded in passing by a sister, Barbara J. Vander Pol. Saundra was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and Davenport College. She retired from Field’s Fabric. When not working, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts, and reading. Saundra had a kind and giving heart; she was a mother figure to many. Saundra was a member of Centerpoint Church and previously attended Bethany Reformed Church. She had a strong faith in the Lord and believed that “Courage is our fears prayed for.” Saundra leaves to cherish her memory two children, Michael (Jill) Bos and Kimberly (Justin) Wood; granddaughter, Savanna Bos; brother, Robert (Phyllis) Vander Pol; nieces and nephews, Robin (Michael) VanOss, Mark (Vickie) Vander Pol and Jonathan (Penny) Vander Pol; ten great-nieces and great-nephews.
