My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I don't know if you even remember us but our family lived on S.Dartmouth and I knew Scott as a child. I met him again much later in life, but it was a joy and he always knew how to make you smile. He was a free spirit and I loved that about him, may you all be comforted by all the memories you have of your loved one. Rest in Peace my friend Ramona Seaberry Lumpkin

Thinking of The Owens family during these difficult times. Scott was definitely a free spirit, and now his wings can really spread as he enters the kingdom of heaven. Praying that the fun times and memories of Scott help ease the pain of your loss. Until all of you meet again with him and E J (Dad) again, may God have mercy on your heavy hearts and help to heal your souls, because one day... one day, I believe you will be together as one once again. Sincerely, Danny Clarke

To the Owens Family, My heart breaks for you, it is never easy to lose a loved one. I am glad that Scott was at home with y'all when he passed. May you find the memories to comfort you, bring you peace, laughter and some tears. Being Cindy's friend since WAY back in High School, many days spent at Mr. & Mrs. Owens house, and many memories of Scott. Rest in the good and hope in the assurance that you will see him again one day along with EJ in heaven! I love y'all and am praying for each of you. Love, Amy Lou Saville-Randall

Scott, you are loved. As brothers growing up i was always jealous. Not only did you have the bankroll but you were blessed with the looks. As we grew older you were one of the few who could challenge me to reflect on my character. I need that and it is already missed. I love you brother.
