Sharon Morlan, 73, of Schoolcraft, MI, passed away on June 22, 2021, from a three-year battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The final goodbye for immediate family was held at 10:00 a.m. on June 25, 2021, at Joldersma and Klein. A celebration of life luncheon followed. Sharon was born in Rochester, MN on March 8, 1948.

Sharon Morlan, 73, of Schoolcraft, MI, passed away on June 22, 2021, from a three-year battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Sharon was born in Rochester, MN on March 8, 1948. She graduated from Lourdes High School, Rochester, MN and continued on to receive a Nursing degree from St. Mary’s Nursing School, Rochester, MN. Sharon was married to Roger A. Morlan on April 24, 1970; they were married for 51years. Sharon worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse and began her career with the Long Beach V.A. in CA and moved into geriatric care working in Huntington Beach and transferring to Fullerton Care Convalescent Hospital in CA where she worked for 15+ years. After moving to MI in 1986 she worked and retired from Tendercare of Portage for 25+ years. She enjoyed reading, watching her soap operas, camping with her husband, her dogs and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed bowling and playing darts with her friends from the Moose Lodge. Sharon is survived by her husband Roger of Schoolcraft, MI. She is also survived by her stepson Michael Morlan and his wife Kim of Three Rivers, MI; her stepdaughter Michele Myers of Plainwell, MI; her daughter Heidi Morlan of Schoolcraft, MI and her daughter Wendy Morlan of Indianapolis, IN. She has 5 grandsons (Joshua Myers of Plainwell, MI; Mitchel and Bryce Morlan of Three Rivers, MI; Ethan and Andrew Shenberger of Indianapolis, IN.) 4 granddaughters (Emily and Hannah Anderson of Indianapolis, IN; Jordan Myers of Kalamazoo, MI; and Taylor Anderson of Colorado Springs, CO.) A niece Jaime Dexter of Kyle, TX. Other family located in Central MI and Rochester, MN. Sharon was preceded in death by her Parents Gerald R. and Gail M. (Anderson) Dexter of Rochester, MN; her beloved Uncle and Aunt John and Dorothy (Anderson) Nordine and her only brother Gary Dexter of Huntington Beach, CA as well as Grandparents, several Uncles, Aunts and cousins. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Cancer research or Grace Hospice of Kalamazoo, MI.
