Age 69, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. Solvega was born in Kalamazoo on October 10, 1951, the daughter of Verners and Helena (Lazdans) Plugis. Solvega would do anything for anyone. She was the personification of unconditional love. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She will be greatly missed. Solvega is survived by her children, Enrique R. (Jamie Vallier) Sanchez, Jr., Joanna (Agustin Vargas) Sanchez, Stephanie Sanchez; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ludvigs Plugis, Veronika Alexander, Erika Plugis; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roberto Miguel Sanchez; grandson, Alejandro Sanchez Trevino; brothers, Jazeps Plugis, Adolfs Plugis.
