Age 100, passed away on Wednesday evening, October 6, 2021. Stan was born in Berrien County, MI, on August 18, 1921, the son of Roman and Anna (Kowalski) Swikoski. On June 1, 1946, he married Grace Howell who preceded him in death. He married Dorothy Yoha in 1987, who also preceded him in death. Stan proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, where he was an Ensign and served as a pilot. He was a woodworker. He worked for many years in maintenance for Whirlpool. He also enjoyed working on cars. Stan is survived by his children, Patricia Swikoski of Niles, Donald Swikoski of Niles, and Robert (Patti) Swikoski of Kalamazoo; step-daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Gervais; grandchildren, Kathleen (William) Morrill, Kellie Swikoski, Robert (Molly) Swikoski Jr., Peter Swikoski; eight step-grandchildren; fifteen step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wives, he was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and five sisters.
